Kylie Thompson - Managing Director “Boss Lady”
Kylie established Sorrento Strategic Accounting following 10 years of honing her skills working in public accounting practices and gaining her Certified Practising Accountant qualification.
Kylie is passionate about positively impacting the life of creative artists by proactively assisting with the management of their tax affairs.
Board member and Treasurer for the Australian Live Music Business Council, Treasurer for Wild Within Co Ltd, WA CPA Divisional Council Member and Chairperson for Accountants in Suburbia Discussion Group.
On weekends you may well spot Kylie at client gigs showing her support whilst also pursuing her other passion for AFL football demonstrated by cheering from the sidelines of her son’s games as well as the West Coast Eagles.
Kylie graduated from Edith Cowan University with a Bachelor of Business (Double Major in Accounting & Finance) in 1991.

Chantelle joined in 2017, with over 12 years of accounting experience within the tax industry. Chantelle provides practical, hands-on expertise in managing the team, ensuring the office runs like clockwork.
With meticulous attention to detail and the never ending to do lists, Chantelle is passionate about continuous workplace improvement.
Outside of work Chantelle, enjoys catching up with friends, a little too much shopping and watching the Italian Soccer.
Alex decided to follow his Mum’s footsteps and joined Sorrento Strategic Accounting as a casual junior in 2015. Alex has now graduated with Bachelor of Commerce at UWA and is specialising in Accounting and Finance. Alex is looking forward to commencing his journey towards becoming a CPA.
With years of work experience to complement his education Alex has been able develop an enriched hands-on understanding of taxation.
Alex loves his sport, specifically AFL, and is a die-hard West Coast Eagles supporter and playing local footy at North Beach Football Club.
